As part of our annual tradition, we ensure that whenever children come together to learn and grow, parents have an equally enriching opportunity. The Kiddie Book and Craft Fair (KBCF) and Parenting Workshop 2024 exemplified this commitment.
The event took place on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Zealand Funworld, Legon City Mall, and featured an impressive lineup of expert facilitators:
- Mike Ohene-Effah (Counsellor and Co-founder, LeadAfrique International)
- Ps. Benedict Eghan (Resident Pastor, PIWC Tesano)
- Pastors Michael and Joella McCann (Marriage and Family Counsellors, Emmanuel International Christian Centre)
- Ps. Hannah Abrahams-Appiah (Author, Teens & Youth Coach)
The workshop covered crucial parenting topics, including:
- The Ministry of Parenting
- Dealing with Children and Technology
- Peer Pressure Management
- An open forum addressing behavioral changes and patterns in children.
Parents left the session feeling empowered, equipped, and ready to face the challenges of parenting with renewed confidence and insight.
