The Kiddie Book and Craft Fair (KBCF) is an annual tradition that celebrates children’s literacy and creativity, bringing together young minds from diverse backgrounds in a vibrant and colorful event. The 2024 edition continued this tradition by promoting reading, arts, and crafts in an engaging and dynamic way.
This year’s event, held on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Zealand Funworld, Legon City Mall, featured a range of inspiring activities and sessions:
- Mr. Mike Ohene-Effah, (Author, Counsellor, and Co-founder of LeadAfrique International), shared insights from his transformative book, One-Der-Ful. Through its 64 powerful stories from around the world, the book illustrates how singular acts—whether a step, decision, choice, or action—can transform lives, organizations, and even nations. Attendees were inspired to embrace the power of “one act” to change the course of their own lives.
- The Arts and Crafts Session, led by Theresa Maame Baduba Ansah (Creative Director, MBA MODE Ghana Ltd.), introduced children to hands-on activities such as doll making, beadwork, and painting, sparking their creativity and artistic skills.
Don’t let your child miss out on the magic of KBCF!
