Nyansapo Rising: Celebrating Young Achievers

The Nyansapo Rising Graduation Ceremony marked a proud milestone for the students of the Nyansapo Club, a mentorship program dedicated to nurturing the talents of children aged 8 to 15 in reading, writing, and creative arts.

This year’s event was a vibrant celebration attended by parents, teachers, friends, and family, as well as our supportive partners who made the occasion truly special.

Seventeen remarkable children graduated, showcasing their growth in the various areas. Highlights of the event included:

  • An Exhibition by the art finalists, where their stunning creations were displayed and patronised.
  • Event Moderation by Young Readers, who confidently hosted the ceremony and conducted interviews with the young writers.
  • The Launch of “Nyansapo Tales”, an anthology of stories rooted in African and global settings, celebrating the rich cultures of Ghana and beyond written by seven youngsters.

A memorable moment was the virtual participation of Paa Kwesi, a student based in the U.S., who joined to receive his certificate and celebrate with his peers.

The ceremony was a testament to the dedication of parents, organizers, and the students themselves.

With applications for the next edition open, we are excited to welcome a new cohort of young talents eager to learn, create, and shine.
